through our history

80s

Antoni Castro is a maintenance technician and carries out various tasks through which he acquires the knowledge and skills that will lead him to change his life, as well as understand what maintenance means within an industrial setting.

90s

Antoni Castro has an entrepreneurial idea and sets up a small mechanical maintenance team to offer this service to companies in the textile sector.

2007

With the increase in service demand, Antoni Castro creates SERVYCAT, the official service company focused on mechanical maintenance of all types of machinery. Due to geographic and proximity reasons, the company expands into the food sector. The headquarters is located in Ripoll and starts with a stable group of workers under the founder’s leadership.

2010

The company continues to grow and expands into new activities and trades. The brand ELECTRO SERVYCAT emerges, focused on providing services in the electrical and electromechanical fields (electrical panels, electrical installations, automation systems, programming, etc.).

2012

The company relocates to Vic and opens the new and current headquarters of SERVYCAT. A facility is acquired where the companies’ operations are centralized, both administrative and technical. Work begins on mechanical and electrical workshop tasks, as well as setting up a warehouse for all material supply needs.

2014

Given its growth, the company covers an increasingly larger scope within industrial maintenance, initiating a necessary stage of strengthening the workshop as a place for repairing and commissioning mechanical and electrical components. At the same time, more specific and complex operations in the mechanical and electrical fields are undertaken. This requires the acquisition of machinery and various equipment such as folding machines, a water jet cutting machine, a CNC lathe, etc.

2020

Consolidation and growth of the company. Increase in the number of clients and entry into other industrial sectors. Today, SERVYCAT is a global company within the industrial maintenance sector.
